The next valuable opportunity for Cornwall’s female entrepreneurs to network and receive support from Facebook’s #SheMeansBusiness campaign has been announced.

Katherine George, Managing Director of Oh So Social, will be hosting the next Female Founder Meet-up as part of the national campaign on Thursday 24th May, 10am-12pm, at Killiow Golf Club, near Truro.

At the networking morning female start-up business owners can get their social media questions answered, meet other female entrepreneurs and share their stories. It will also be a great opportunity to make valuable contacts to boost their businesses.

Social media expert Katherine has been chosen by Facebook and Enterprise Nation to head up the campaign in Cornwall, and is the only accredited trainer and mentor in the South West. This event will also give attendees the chance to have a one-to-one with Katherine herself to get their burning social media questions answered.

Katherine said: “The #SheMeansBusiness launch event in March was a great success; we met a good number of inspirational businesswomen from across a range of sectors. It was a positive and productive networking session which we aim to repeat at this next meet-up.

“This time we wanted to provide more support to those who join us, which is why I’m offering the chance to sit down with me and ask those niggling social media questions on the day. I can’t wait to share my knowledge and help boost businesses in Cornwall.”

#SheMeansBusiness was launched last year to celebrate female entrepreneurs and to facilitate Facebook and Instagram training to female founders of start-up businesses across the UK. Last year, the campaign provided training to over 10,000 female entrepreneurs.
